As 12am strikes the clock, I creep up to Tania’s suite. Natalie is fast asleep. Luckily, I find Tania reading a novel. “What brings you here?” She asks me.

“I can’t hold it together. I miss you.” I get under covers with her.”’

“Your girlfriend is in the next floor.”she reminds me.

“I know.” I giggle

“Can’t believe I’m stealing time with my own husband.” She says.

“Forget about that. Make my night.” I say, as I give her a bone crushing hug and kiss.

It’s hard to keep it together in the morning, when I’m in the same room as the two women who both capture my heart in different ways

“Good morning, Tania” Natalie greets, as Tania lazily walks into the kitchen.’

“How are you?” Tania asks politely

“Good.”

“Your night?” She asks Natalie

“Slept throughout.” Natalie responds

“Makes sense.” Tania mutters.

“I’m sorry. What was that?” Natalie asks.

“Nothing. What’s for breakfast?” Tania asks.

“I didn’t make anything. Eat cereal.”

Tania walks lazily to the fridge and flies it open.

“Liam, we’ve run out of milk.” She says.

“Use water.” Natalie says.

“What?” Tania turns to face her

“Your cereal. Add water.” Natalie says again.

“As if.” Tania walks away.

I follow Tania as she walks to the living room.

“Are you okay?” I ask her.

“I am. How are you?”

“Good.” I say

“Listen Liam, I can’t be in the same house as your girlfriend. I will go stay at my parents place for a while.” She says

“Don’t go.” I shout.

“Why?”She asks me

I don’t answer, instead, I give her a melting kiss. I forget that Natalie is in the next room. All I want is Tania, naked.

“Am I disturbing?” Natalie clears her throat.

I quickly push Tania and turn to look at my girlfriend.

“I can explain.” I say

“Arghh, no need.” Natalie walks upstairs to pack her bags.

When she comes back down, I beg her not to leave. Her response shocks me.

“You couldn’t stand up for yourself when your parents married you off. Now, you can’t stand firm and tell me you’ve given your marriage a chance. I don’t deserve a man like you. Spineless. Coward. You hide behind these suits you wear. You’re nothing but a shell of how a man should be. For once, in your little life, stand firm and claim your wife. Bye Liam.”She slams the door.
