As I park my car in the roundabout driveway of my parent’s mansion, I run over how I’ll explain this to Tania. This would have been much easier if I hadn’t developed feelings for Tania. As I walk in the kitchen, with Natalie by my side. I spot Tania standing by the oven, warming up the lunch I cooked. When she spots me and Natalie by the door, she straightens up and smiles politely.

“Tania, I believe you’ve met Natalie.” I say, clearing my throat.

“I have met her. How can I not know my husband’s mistress?” Tania asks with a small smile

“If anyone’s a homewrecker here, it’s you! Forcing my man into an arranged marriage.” Natalie spits.

“Ladies, please.” I say.

“I warmed up the food, hubby. The lunch you cooked for us?” Tania tells me.

“You cooked? You never cook.” Natalie asks, shocked.

“I didn’t go to work today, I needed to keep busy so I made lunch.” I shrug.

“I see.” Natalie nods.

“Sit down, please.” Tania smiles and serves us.

“What brings you to the McBride mansion, Natalie?” Tania asks.

“I’m here to see my man, of course. I have to serve him. He must be hungry” Natalie says.

“Hungry? I’m pretty sure he had a big lunch today.” Tania laughs.

“What do you mean?” Natalie frowns.

“Nothing. She means nothing by that.” I chip in, glaring at Tania.

“Oh well.” Tania says, cutting her salmon.

“I need to freshen up, after eating here. Baby, where is your suite?” Natalie asks.

“You mean..our suite?” Tania asks

“What do you mean? You told me you don’t share the same bed.” Natalie glares at me.

“We don’t!” I quickly shout.

“Liam?” Natalie says.

“Third floor, on your left. Fourth door.” I tell her.

Natalie stands up and walks up the flight of stairs.
