I could not believe that I just told her that I f’ng love her, what was I even thinking?

“KG?” Thobane said making me to snap out of everything and looked at the guys “Sorry.” It is funny how I always made fun of Senzo for falling for Rose but here I was not able to even erase Caroline from my mind.

“Did we all get that?” I nodded, we have gone through the plan a couple of times already. “Are you okay?” Senzo asked as we drove into our spot, I nodded.

“It’s that girl?” He asked with a knowing smile, “Why don’t you just tell her how you feel, I don’t like this grumpy you.”

“I did.”

They all looked at me as if waiting to hear more, I shrugged “I don’t know man.” Senzo parked the car far away in the tall thick bushes.

“Voetsek.” Thobane shouted after stopping the truck “Get out.” He said to the guys who looked scared as they looked at guns pointed at them.

I quickly zipped tied their hands and went to open the back of tge truck, all I heard was a shot being fired abd before I kbew it I was down on the floor

“Shit,” I heard from a distant, the voice sounded so far away and soon my eyes started to shut down.

When I woke up I was no longer on the streets, I was in my room with a doctor stitching me up.

“You gave me a fright.” Senzo said standing up from the chair that I keep near the window. “What happened?”

Thobane shrugged, he was standing on the other side of the bef “They had a guy at the back but we took care of him.”

I scanned the room again, but the person I was looking for was not in the room, I hoped that when I woke up she would have been the first person that I saw.

“She’s making us something to drink.” Senzo commented, I relaxed a little a bit knowing that at least she is around.

She walked in just as the doctor was finishing up “How are you?” I could hear that from the sound of her voice that she has been crying not to mention her puffy red eyes.

“I’ve been better.”

She placed the tray on the small coffee table and looked at me “I thought..” She paused “I thought I…” before she could even finish tears came rushing down. “Hey,” I said opening my arm so that she can come to me. Without even asking, everyone walked out, I was now left with Caroline who is now on my chest.
