We woke up at 5 a.m still tired but we know that we have to go, we get in a different car, making sure that the corolla car was taken away to be destroyed.
The car we are on now is a polo we made special designs to it, making sure that the back seats were able to be lifted up but looking at it you can never tell. We stuff the three bags under the seats as we drive off back to Joburg i found myself missing Rose.
I could not wait to get back and hold her very tight.
It was afternoon when we arrived, there was still a whole of time to separate the money I let Katlego to take the money back to his place all agreeing to meet later tonight to count the money.
I got out next to the Cafe, I watched her through the window as she was wiping the table. She is beautiful, I can never get over her beauty even though she don’t see any of that but I do.
I push open the door making the bell jingle she looks up, our eyes meet.
She smiles with her eyes as she continues to look at me, I stuff my hands deep in my pockets stopping myself from fiddling with my fingers I walk up to her “Let’s get out of here.” I say looking at her hazel eyes.
“I can’t, I need the job. My boss is not happy that I was gone for 4 days.
“Quit.”
She looks at me like I have totally lost my mind “I can’t exactly do that.”
“Why?”
She takes a deep breath and sighs “Because I owe my school a whole lot of money and I need to pay for apartment I can’t exactly do all of that if I’m unemployed.”
“I’ll take care of you.” I mean it, I will do anything for her she doesn’t need to work at this Cafe, she can have whatever she wants without having to work another day in her life.
“No.” she says turning around and went behind the counter I follow her “Why?”
“I actually like doing something for myself, I don’t need saving. I want to wake up each morning and come here besides I like this place.” She says now giving me a challenging stare.
Not many people can look at me and challenge me like she is doing, I knew that there was a reason I liked her so much.
