After a year of them dating, Natasha decided to break up with Mpendulo. Her reason was she was tired of lying to him. Mpendulo deserved a better someone.

Early February Natasha broke up with Mpendulo, they were both heart broken. Natasha was a mess after the break up, you’d think she was not the one who initiated it. Her breaking up with Mpendulo did not mean he stopped loving him, she was still in love with Mpendulo, she kept their memories, the necklace and his t-shirt too. Natasha would check Mpendulo’s profile on Facebook everyone and again, she was lonely.

In August Natasha dated Mira, a girl from where her dad lived. She was visiting Roodepoort and met Mira, she was honest with Mira from the beginning. She told her she was not emotionally detached from her former lover, Mira cared less about those details. Their friend’s with benefit “thingy” did not last long as Mira left Roodepoort early.

To Natasha’s surprise Mpendulo reached out to her, they spoke for few days and then Mpendulo never replied to her messages. Natasha was even more heart broken, she went to the rurals spent her December holidays there and tried to forget about her former lover that was still renting free in her heart & mind.

It was a new year, early January Mpendulo contacted Natasha once again…..
