Lena walked along the beach, clearing her mind after the rumors. Suddenly, a familiar voice called out.
“Lena!”
She turned to see her ex-boyfriend, Kyle, approaching her.
“Kyle! What are you doing here?” Lena asked, surprised.
“I’m on vacation with my family,” Kyle replied, his eyes locked on hers.
Lena’s instincts sensed something off.
As they chatted, Kyle’s family remained noticeably absent.
“I’ve missed you, Lena,” Kyle said, his voice low.
Before Lena could respond, Kyle leaned in and kissed her.
Stunned, Lena pushed him away.
“Kyle, stop! I’m with someone now.”
But the damage was done. Aiden, who had been walking toward Lena, witnessed the kiss.
His expression fell, and he turned around, disappearing into the crowd.
Lena called out, but Aiden was gone.
Days passed, and Lena heard nothing from Aiden.
She tried calling and texting, but he ignored her.
Lena realized Aiden must have believed she and Kyle were back together.
Panicked, Lena went to Aiden’s cafe, hoping to clear the air.
But Aiden’s mom said he was out, and she didn’t know when he’d return.
Lena felt desperate. How could she make Aiden understand?
As she walked away, Lena saw Tamsyn watching her from across the street, a sly smile spreading across her face.
