Lerato was born in Richardsbay kwa Dlangezwe. She stays with her mother and grand father. Her mother is unemployed and is her bestie whilst her father is the richest man in the whole province of KZN. She loves watching movies, Instagram and Facebook are her playground. She often gets thousands of comments on her beauty and her style especially from older men, but she adores the attention.

Lerato and Naledi never really spent much time together, their relationship was only strengthened by the fact that they were both enrolled into the same boarding school and high school in Petermaritsburg. Lerato was a star, the most popular girl in school, the leader of the hockey team, the best athlete and the beauty queen. She ran the school and had her own gang.

On weekends learners are allowed to visit home, Lerato never went home, at most she persuaded Naledi to come with her on her adventures. She went to the city of lights, the city of roses, the mother city and any other city you can think of. She came back to boarding school in the most expensive cars anyone has ever seen, she once even dated the premier of a different province.

During holidays Lerato would stay at Naledi’s for a week or two. Naledi’s mom would compare the two girls in their academics, their way of clothing and any other thing really. She loved Lerato and always praised her. “You should get better marks wena Naledi” she’d scold.

Naledi hated having Lerato around when her mom would compare them but she also enjoyed listening to her stories about men and women and money and all the drama. Lerato had no sense of respect, even the language she used was often unacceptable. She did not care, telling her to stop made her worse. She wasn’t religious at all, never once went to church. She only got good marks through bribery and sexual exchange. Yes she was that type of girl, but oddly enough she was loveable just like her grandfather Themba.Let’s recap on all the uncles( I don’t want you to forget them) Themba(late grandfather) has five sons. Eldest Nkosi(also late), followed by Shukela, then by u-3, then Sgonondo and lastly Dimples. They all loved Lerato because she was Shukela’s daughter.

Basically everyone loved Lerato despite her behaviour and the manner in which she carried herself. She was beautiful and rich and could get anything she wanted, that was all that mattered.
