The Crazy Wife

A woman

A mother

A wife

A sister

A daughter

Her man labeled her crazy

His husband was lazy

All he did was to drink alcohol

then shift blame saying it’s his wife who is wrong

The woman was tired of talking to a grown man as a child

She loved him but she got tired of being a wife

The wife of a drunkard

who buys booze and forget what he got

A family

So she turned to divorce

She wanted to keep her peace

Even if it meant tearing her marriage in pieces

Love was lost

People labeled her crazy

but crazy were they to judge what they don’t know

She wasn’t happily married

So her peace she carried

and left the marriage

She grew tired of forcing things

Forcing a man to leave his childish ways

So all things went astray

She wondered “why did he marry me in the first place”
