After getting rid of the body, David and Thando meet up with Andy at the warehouse to discuss their next step.
David: leaving the body at the barbershop was actually a good idea…
Thando: so what? Are you tryna tell the world that…
David: hey what are you getting mad at me for? I’m not the one who made the stupid move of killing the old woman, that’s all on you (points at Thando)
Thando: dude what the hell, how in the universe was I supposed to know that the old lady was investigating me?!(angry)
David: you were supposed to know that, after all that is the reason you’re living with them or did you think you’re there to live in luxury? Come on…
Thando: you…
(Andy steps in)
Andy: okay that is enough fighting… We are not here to fight amongst ourselves.
David: tell that to her, she started it…
Andy: why are you pinning the blame sorely on her, you didn’t keep quiet either. Okay it’s fine, now we have to think about who else knows about this and who the hell aided her, it was not our aim to kill her, she is just collateral damage.
Thando: that’s right, I’ll try my best to find coz there ain’t a way for her to have found this out all on her own….
David: Thando don’t you think you should be going, I mean someone might find out you’re gone.
Andy: David’s right… You better go (hugs Thando)
Thando:(why do I feel so uncomfortable, I don’t understand. Andy’s my love and I’m doing this for him) okay I’ll go now…
Thando reaches the mansion and rushes to her room just to find Jonathan seated on her bed in the dark.
Thando: (turns on the lights) Jonathan what are you doing here that too in the dark, you scared me…
Jonathan: I could ask you the same thing, I’ve been here for an hour and even called you but you never picked up even once…is there something I should know?
Thando: (panicked) I… Uh, I went out for a stroll and ended up taking longer than I thought…
Jonathan: oh you scared the hell out of me, I thought you left coz you don’t wanna marry me… ( Hugs her)
Thando: ( hugs him back) how could I leave you silly…( Whew … That scared me a bunch)
Jonathan: so… The next time you go for a stroll could you take me along with you so we can have our alone time, I’ve been too busy with work lately
Thando: of course…But…why were you looking for me??
Jonathan: Do I need a reason to look for the woman I love? I just wanted to see you, take my time looking at this beautiful creation, I feel like I’ve become a poet, you know… and you are my inspiration (cuddles her)
Thando: (I don’t got time for this right now, I need to figure out how to find the accomplice of that hag, although this is not too bad, the more he falls for me the easier this will get)
The next morning Thando and Jonathan wake up, still cuddling.
Jonathan: Good morning… how did you sleep?
Thando: Good morning,I slept just like a baby, how did you sleep?
Jonathan: How can I not sleep peacefully when I have the woman I love in my arms??(smiles, checks the time) Oops I’m getting late… I’m losing track of time just by looking at you… I’ll leave now, or else if I stay even longer I will never leave (leaves)
At breakfast Thando is all smiles reminiscing about the nice moments spent with Jonathan.
Amanda: Did something happen? You’re all smiles it’s blinding…is the reason behind your happiness perhaps someone with a name starting with a J?(giggles)
Thando: (puts on a straight face) what smiles? just eat your food so we can start our lessons (why was I smiling like an idiot, I can’t be falling for Jon right? No way… I’m way too professional for this nonsense, it must be something else)
During lunch time Thando is watching the news to see if anything has happened.
Tv: BREAKING NEWS…A BODY HAS BEEN FOUND NEAR THE X BARBERSHOP IN XX STREET, THE BODY HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS FEMALE AROUND THE AGES OF 40 AND ABOVE…SHE IS SUSPECTED TO BE THE MOTHER OF THE YOUNG BUSINESSMAN JONATHAN NKOSI, BUT THAT IS TO BE CONFIRMED AS THE POLICE ARE YET TO CONTACT MR NKOSI, STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES.
Thando: So she has been found (smirks) You made me do this (grins)
