The heart pendant burnt a whole on the side of Slindile’s pocket. She hadn’t time to think about the letter and who may have brought it there at her place, she wanted so bad to talk to Samuels about it, she placed it at the back of the mind as she focused on the case.
“So where to from here?” Slindile asked putting her phone back on her pocket.
“Back to the station to see if we had missed anything.”
They soon arrived at the dtation and headed straight to their office. In just a couple of minutes their tables was filled with open files of the victims.
“So there was no forced entry into their cars,” Slindile said as she thought out loud “Meaning that they all the person,” She said as she looked at George Harrisburg file and thought quickly came on her mind “Samu..” She stood midway as she remembered that he was out to buy them something to eat.
She quickly left the office and went to find Themba, “I want you stop everything that you are doing right now and search for me if the other two victims had joined golf club recently?”
Themba placed down his half eaten sandwich and quickly typed on the computer “They were all on a golf club in Sandton.”
With a new enthusiasm she smile “Text me that address.” She shouted as she ran out of the door and went back to the office only to find out that Samuels was still not back.
She grabbed the car keys knowing that she couldn’t wait any longer and quickly went into the car.
