“Yes, have you gotten any chance to do that background check?” Slindile asked over the phone, she heard the ckicks of a computer as Themba pressed on “Yeah and the guy is squeaky clean, he had joined a golf club about a month ago that’s not unusual for a standard guy like him.”
“What about the other 2 victims, Samuels hadn’t had time to brief me as of yet.”
“They are all males, all in their mid 30s nothing unusual had stood out in all of them except being in directions they were not supposed to be on.”
“Their names?”
“The first one is Richard Mbongo, Zakhele Mahlangu and you obviously know the third one and oh the 2 of them were married Zakhele was in a seriously committed relationship.”
“That’s interesting, thanks Themba please inform us of anything that you may come across too.” She said ending the call.
“So they all had been in a relationship of some sort, or were they all just unhappy?”
“Hard to say maybe they needed that one secret thing to do that excited them.”
“Yeah, talking about the case makes me think about that Silent killer, he had killed those people who were cheating because he thought they were doing a wrong and he was only trying to do the right thing.”
“So you think that they are similar in a way?”
Slindile shrugged as she thought about it “Maybe.”
