It was Saturday.Tshidi woke up early and found a message on her phone from Obakeng.
Meet me at the park in 1 hour.
Tshidi tried calling him but he didn’t answer.He tried texting him but to no avail.She showered and wore her school uniform but took her school bag and put a top and a jean inside it.She walked to the kitchen.
“Good morning,mom and brother.” Tshidi greets happily.
“Morning, Tshidi.Are you going to school already?” Mercy asks.
“Yes, I’m late already.” Tshidi replies.
“Aren’t you going to wait for me?” Oratile asks.
“Sorry but Sir told us to come early.Bye,see’ya.” Tshidi says and leaves immediately.

Lucy was in her bedroom,not feeling well.
“Mom,are you ok?” Otlile says as he walks inside her bedroom.
“I’m fine.Don’t worry about me.” Lucy says lowly feeling a headache.
“Are you sure?” Otlile asks.
“I’m fine.Just go to school before you get late.”Lucy fakes a smile.
Otlile kisses her on the forehead and leaves.Lucy takes her phone and writes a message to Lucas.
I need to tell you something very important.I won’t be able to come to you so please as soon as you get this message,come to my place.
She sent it.

Tshidi arrived at the park and saw Obakeng holding a bottle of alcohol.
”Obakeng,what are you doing?” Tshidi takes the bottle away from him.
Obakeng hugs her.
“Thank you for coming,babe.” Obakeng says drunk.
“Why have you been drinking? Let’s sit down.” Tshidi says as they sit down on a bench.
“Do you love me?” Obakeng asks her
“Of course, where is this coming from?” Tshidi asks.
“My dad hates me and my mother.Can you believe it?He wants me to go live with him and his wife at Pretoria.Imagine.” Obakeng says.
“But that’s a good thing, isn’t it?” Tshidi asks.
“You know what, let’s leave the matter.I don’t want us to talk about something that’s gonna make me angry.Lets talk about us.” Obakeng says.
“What about us?”
“You said you love me so show me that you love me.” Obakeng says touching her breasts.
Tshidi started feeling uncomfortable.

“But….. I’m not ready.” Tshidi says pulling away.
“I knew it.You don’t love me.” Obakeng says standing up.

Tshidi looks down,tears threatening to fall out.
“Fine,I’ll allow you to be my virgin-breaker.” Tshidi says after a long time.

“Stop beating around the bush.Treatment for what?” Lucas asks touching her hand.
“I was diagnosed with brain tumour.”
