The next day, I went to go and visit my dad in prison. I needed to find out what does this thing want from me, and how I could stop it. Walking through the place, not only was the place itself creepy, the men there were too.

We followed closely as the security guard lead us through the prison. He constantly has to shove those prisoners back into their cells. They tried to touch us.

“Here you go ladies. Have a seat right there, and a guard will bring him to you.”

“Okay, thank you.”

We sat in the waiting area, where all the other families were meeting their fellow members who were imprisoned.

After a while, a familiar face, walked through the door. He looked around, until he saw us. He then walked towards us smiling.

“Changed your mind sweetheart?”

“Shut up and sit down.”

He then looked over to me, and he smiled even more. A smile that made me sick to my stomach. I didn’t really wanna be here, but I needed answers. The only place where I could find those answers, is by my so called father.

“You so grown up now…..we could have made a perfect family if you just joined me.”

“I don’t want to join you….and I didn’t come here for that.”

“Feisty….just like your mom. I guess that’s why I love you both so much.”

“Can you please shut up?”

“We’ve come here, looking for answers. You…..Will answer them.”

“Answers for?”

“What does that thing want from me? Why won’t it leave me alone?”

He laughs, he laughs as if this entire thing is a joke to him.

“It’s simple sweetie. Just join me, and all of your problems would be taken care of. You won’t have anything or anybody bothering you.”

“No! Mom can we just leave please? This isn’t going anywhere.”

I was on the verge of tears, and I needed to get out and soon. I couldn’t handle it anymore.

“Sure….let’s go.”

“Guards, take him. We’re done here.”

“Just think about it Alice. You will live such a good life, just give in.”

Me and my mom started walking to the gate, where a one of the gate operators controlled it.

“ALICE!!!!”

When the gate opened, we walked out to the exit. I never got the answers that I thought my dad would give me. Instead of helping me, he insists that we join. He is so far gone from reality, it’s impossible to bring him back. Then again, what do you expect from someone that’s part of a cult?

They are all the same, they are not mentally stable. They would never snitch on their leader, whoever the hell that is. There has to be a way to escape from this demon thing. If no one helps me,I’ll find a way myself. With or without my dad, I will save my life, and my soul. I know that my mom will definitely have my back.

We were in the car, currently on our way home. We stopped at the local coffee shop. She parked the car, and took some cash out of her wallet.

“You want anything?”

“Yeah ummm….maybe a iced latte, sprinkled with cinnamon. Dark chocolate glazed doughnuts, I’m in the mood for that.”

“Okay. Hold on, I’ll be back in 5.”

“Okay, cool.”

Sitting in the car, I was lost in my thoughts. I decided to go on to Google, and search for ideas on how to get rid of things like these. A guy knocked on the window of the passenger seat. This made me jump up in my seat, he scared me.

“It’s never over! They’re coming. Seek help.”

Soon my mom comes back, and the man disappeared. Looking over at me, my mom looked at me concerned.

“You okay? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”

“Uh, mom did you see that man?”

“What man?”

“That man that was by my window a few seconds ago.”

“No……there wasn’t anyone there.”

“Oh, must be my imagination then.”

“Well then, let’s go home. Shall we?”

I nod my head yes, and soon we were on our way. That was so fricking weird.
