Nomcebo made sure to clean the house the following morning very early and left right after her mother and went to the dam. No one usually came out here to the dam which made it a perfect time for her to relax and not be bothered.

As she sat down from the soft grass she cried; her heart was broken from listening to her mother’s many prayers last night. It was breaking each time to listen to her as she begged God to listen to her prayers.

“Why are you crying? You know that tears are important?”

She looked up surprised that there was someone here. The person standing in front of her was beautiful, with a flawless skin.

She sat down as I told her my story. She got up and left and came back with baskets full of fruits and bread. “Take this back home.”

“Thank you.” she said taking the basket from her hands. “Now go, it’s late.” Surprised that it was already getting dark. She went back home happy and ready to show my mother.
