“So he invited you to a holiday party?” my aunt says as we sit on the couch.

“Yeah it’ll be great so I can meet some people and make some friends you know?” I say to my aunt.

“and it also means you guys are getting serious” she says as she gives me a playful push.

“You think so?” I say as I blush a little.

“Of course why else would he take you to a party with all his friends and plus why wouldn’t he want to show you off to his friends” she says giving me a wink before getting up to get ready for bed

Maybe we are getting serious but I don’t want things to move too fast you guys understand me, right? Well of course I love him but you know this never work out if stuff move too fast. But it should be great to meet his friends and to make some friends of my own. All my thoughts make me fall into a deep sleep quickly.

****3 days later****

today I’m going shopping for my outfit for the Christmas party because it’s in 2 weeks. And plus you can never have your outfit ready too early. I’ve decided to go shopping on my own and try and be kind of independent on my own.

As I get to the mall it seems a bit empty so it’ll be easier to get an outfit now. As I walk into a clothing store I see Suna aka the girl that called me a bitch at the art gallery and Jihoons ex. Suddenly she starts walking towards me and of course I try to turn around.

“Amiee can we talk?” I hear her say.

“About what?” I say as I turn around.

“You know Jihoon and the way we first met” she says.

“what’s there to talk about? You’re his ex and I’m his girlfriend there we spoke about it, happy?” I say sarcastically.

“no I’m not happy I’m sorry Amiee I really want to try and have a friendship with you cause Jihoon isn’t just my ex he’s like a brother to me and my only real friend” she says tearfully.

“I’d like to say I understand but I really don’t but I’ll try and make an exception and yeah we could try and be friends I guess.” I say with a light smile.

“Oh thank you now can we start over? I’m Suna and you are?” She say putting her hand out for my to shake it.

“Amiee Li” I say as I shake her hand.

“Nice to meet you Amiee so what are we shopping for today?” She says as we walk around the store.

“Something for the Christmas party” I say as we look through the clothing.

wow I can’t believe I’m now friends with someone who I thought hated my guts. I can’t lie it feels good having a fresh start with no enemies now.
