Blade’s POV :
I cannot believe that Liam has been out for this long, a week and a half! We’ll that’s a lot. I looked at how peaceful he looked. If it had not been for us, those wolves would have probably found him to be unpalatable meat. I smirked at the thought of that. If there was one thing I was thinking about, it was probably that Nina and I were going to make a happy family. What if I just left this revenge stuff behind, I mean Albert is old and he’ll die, Liam, well,as long as his wife is still dead, he will be a drunkard man. Leaving behind only Jack to be the king but here’s the thing, I didn’t trust him very well.
Meaning soon enough, I have to kill him. In this world, it is either you eat, or you get eaten and he will get eaten. I wondered how far he was with phase 3 since he was all so excited about it. Soon, Nina was going to give birth, and I had to help with naming the child but, I’ll save that for later. I’ll marry her before she gives birth, right after phase 3. I decided that since I could not stop the death of the Queen from happening, I would stop Jack from taking over the throne by returning Liam back to his kingdom, it would be better that way. Before that I needed to negotiate with Jack to stop the plan during today’s meeting.
During the meeting :
We looked at each other in the eye, as we sipped the most finest wine. Half way to finishing our glasses , I broke the silence. ” You know, Jack, I’ve been thinking for a while and, I think we must stop with our plan, damage has already been done. I really want to propose to Nina soon, so that we can live together. I no longer want to hurt her,” I said. ” Hmm, spoke like a real weakling. If there is one thing I know its the fact that you don’t understand what victory feels like, you don’t want to know what the lust of kingship does to you, but I won’t blame you. You’re a king after all, but you have to know, you’re no longer the king, I am, ” Jack said making me feel uneasy and a bit weak, I felt a little bit drowsy and I was sweating.
” What’s going on Jack? ” I asked.” I can see that the iron has started to kick in, really does a great job. You should ask the future Queen where she found it, maybe she’ll you know, kill that Liam for you. Look, I saw this coming and I just knew I had to wipe you off the plan, no worries right? Ugh, come on Blade, you can pull a much more brave face than that but I guess it does weird things to you. Whilst you slowly die, I’m going to go to the kingdom and kill your little stupid Nina, oh and your little unborn baby. Poor thing though. Bye, have fun dying, ” he said and left. In a fit of anger, I threw the glass of wine on the wall. Sooner or later today I was going to die, but not before saving my wife.
I went to the cells, only to find Liam and Eleonora kissing. They quickly looked at me with killer eyes, but I was just not ready. “Liam, forgive me but I need your help, my mate, well your sister will die if we don’t hurry up, I need to save her, I cannot lose her, please and I’ll try to tell you all I know,” I said and fell to my knees as got weaker by the minute. “I hate to say it but we gotta help him, he seems weak in a way,” Eleonora said.I thanked the gods above she said that, if there was one thing I told myself at that moment, it was that I’m not going to die without seeing Nina for the last time. That’s my last wish.
One thing I know about death is that, before you die, you’ll have to do something that makes sense for the first time something that you’ll always be proud of, something good, and that’s what I was going to do. Taken that I drank a lot of that wine, today was going to be my last day on Earth. They helped me up, and I gave them the directions to my car. It’s just so sad that I won’t get to marry Nina, I had already bought the ring, but I guess fate had it’s own plans. ” Listen, I have a feeling that whatever Jack’s planning is pretty bad, before he left, he told me that he was going to kill your whole family as in, like everyone except for your father that’s why we have to hurry up to save Nina,” I said.
” Just curious, what’s the thing between you and Nina? ” Liam asked.” I’m her mate, I was going to marry her and stop this whole take over thing. I wanted our child to be born into a peaceful kingdom, ” I said.” So you mean Nina is pregnant with your child? ” he said raising his voice.” Liam, I think it’s better that you focus on the wheel and reaching the castle on time, ” Eleonora said which calmed him down a bit. I bet he had lot’s of questions to ask.
We finally reached the castle and the first thing I did was try to run to the castle but I fell down without warning.” You know what, Liam I’ll go take care of Jack, you go find Nina and fulfill his last wish okay? Love you charmer boy,” she said and winked at him, making him blush. I just couldn’t believe my last moments would be like this. ” Love you too tough girl! Oh, God, why do I have to blush this bad when.., ” I stopped him by saying” Uh, Liam, you know I’m still here right? Nina needs to get saved right? ” he then nodded. I guess he was a bit embarrassed.
They are such a cute couple. We went to Nina’s room and didn’t find her so we went to search for her in the garden. Mind you, Liam wasn’t being easy on me because I was a ‘burden’ which ‘slowed him down’. We found her sitting on a bench, looking at the birds. My Nina always loved flowers, especially the Plumeria. Too bad this was going to be my last day seeing her. She looked at us with a mixture of emotions, shocked, scared and worried. ” Blade, what’s wrong, why do you look so weak?” she said and ran to me.
