“The nearby CCTV footage has been sent, can you please go through it and try to look at something that stands out.”

There were not a lot of footage just 3 footage, so as to not waste time she fast forwarded it and try to see when that car passed but what she saw made her pause.

“What?”

She looked at Samuels and tapped at the laptop. “This is the lady I saw here at the cafe.”

“This is a small town; she was probably just passing by, did you see that car.” soon forgetting all about that woman she went and looked for the car, when she least expected it, the car passed she went back and rewinded it and stopped just in time to catch the number plate.

She quickly wrote it down and looked at Samuels “Seems like we found our killer.” It was a race against time now, her blood was rushing as she wished to get there faster. She had from the other police officers about the rush you get when you catch the culprit that it is like a drug.

“The address points us at Midrand.”

In just 30 minutes they arrived at the mentioned address. Samuels knocked at the door, from the way he was tapping his feet she could tell that he was anxious like her.

He knocked on the door again this time louder and firmer.

“Sheesh don’t break my God damn door.” Shouted a voice from behind the door, the door yanked open and revealed a man who looked like was drunk with a weeks old stubble on his face and a vest with ketchup on it. “What?”

Samuel introduced themselves and showed me the photo of the car “Is this your car.”

He squinted his eyes as he looked at the photo “It was, I gave it to my niece.”

“What’s her name?”

“What had that good for nothing child do now?”

“We can’t say sir” Slindile said “Now her name please.”

“Tony Flore.”

Slindile stepped on the side as she called back at the station to track down Tony Flore.

Once Samuels was done Slindile filled her in “They’ll track down her GPS location, they’ll send the results in a few minutes.”
