Can you tell us about your heroic efforts on the educational world beginning with your basic academic life in preschool?

Funny enough I never attended pre-school. Went straight to great R, my teacher was Miss Nonzinyana.

My school life was fascinating. I have always been involved in both academic and beyond the classroom activities. I was always the top achiever since Grade R until Matric, I would say that’s one thing I will never forget about my school life.

Then I got a little intimidated when I got to varsity, you can imagine someone from rural areas who’s not even fluent in English having to mingle with students that went to private schools who are very fluent in English. I would always feel small in lectures because of that lol.

That’s where modelling played a huge role in boosting my confidence and attitude – coz I got used to public speaking. And I started reading books to improve my vocabulary, since then – my life changed tremendously “

How do you value your high school half decade ? Which subjects brought you to this peak ?What changed during high school ?Did you continue working with your dreams and put your goals in action ?

I mentioned earlier that I’ve always been a top achiever in my school years.

So when we had upcoming tests/exams, I would tutor my classmates at least 2 days prior exam date. I would do one-on-one sessions with them, and I got to interact with them and learnt that we all perceive stuff differently-we just need to be patient and tolerant with each in order to achieve our goals and objectives.

I wasn’t really sure about what I wanted to study after matric, until our School went to a career expo in Byletts. So there was this lady that was speaking in front, telling us about jobs that are/were in high demand – she mentioned “Logistics”, I had to ask her what she means by the term and she told me.

I did a little bit a research on my end as well, and found it interesting. As much as I never did any commercial subjects in high school, I am glad I chose to study the course. I did my best in varsity, graduated record time and scored myself a permanent job.”
