The next day Eliza went college..She submitted her assignment..It was end of the month and her money came out..She paid Ma her money ; bought groceries and electricity in the house and sat at the kitchen eating a pizza she bought and had a book she was studying for exams.

Mother: Finally you paid my money..Don’t steal my mo- but Eliza cut her off

Eliza: Ma; just leave me alone. (She took her bag and studied in her bedroom.)

The next day she was alone at school…At break she out her headphones and listened to Nights Like this by Kehlani..Then a girl Xola who had ash blonde braided extensions tapped her by the shoulder.

Xola: Hey Eliza. (smiles)

Eliza: (takes off her headphones) You invading my peace.

Xola: Why you chilling alone?

Eliza: Excuse me?

Xola: Can l sit with you?

Eliza: Ok.

Xola: I’m Xola.

Eliza: I know you.

Xola: I saw what happened you and Lihle.Sorry.

Eliza: It’s ok..No big deal..

They say together and ate fried chips.

Xola: Can we be friends?

Eliza: I don’t know..

Xola: I know you’re still broken but don’t worry. I got you.

Eliza: Ok (then she walked away)

At home Eliza sat on the bed doing lots homework..Then her brother walked in.

Eliza: Get out.

Sbo: I need money.

Eliza: Get it from Mom; You disturbing me.

Sbo: Give me the money.

Eliza: Get out.

(Sbo had a serious drug addiction habit..He even sold the wonderful phone and clothes he got for his birthday.)

Sbo forced himself a knife on Eliza..She screamed and He took her purse and ran off. Eliza noticed some off her jewellery and sneakers had gone missing.
