Mvelo continues with drugs and also started smoking weed and cigarettes. Aunt Rebecca started noticing that something was different; her school started complaining about her bad behavior. Everyone in the neighborhood started noticing something different about her.

Some boys say they have seen her smoking weed once but her aunt refuses to listen. One night her aunt tried talking to her but since she also has a bad attitude Mvelo replied with anger told her that she’s not her mother what she does with her life is none of her business.

Aunt Rebecca spoke to the school principal about Mvelo’s behavior at home it the same thing in school. They’re all tried to find out as to what was happening to her . She started bunking classes.

Mvelo would sometimes talk to herself as to what she was doing but she never changed. Aunt Rebecca called a social worker to assist; they all held a meeting at home .The social worker asked Mvelo what was really bothering her she did not reply, they asked again and again.

She shouted in anger: “life made me this way my parents died when I was very little. I don’t even remember their faces, smiles and voice. Aunt Rebecca hates me she never saw anything good in me. I tried being perfect but still she never gave me love .” 
Everyone in the room was silent in pain with tears in their eye’s. Aunt Rebecca kept quiet. The social worker told aunt Rebecca that she would be taking Mvelo away because she was abusing her .Aunt Rebecca tried to apologize but it didn’t work Mvelo was taken away by the social worker.
