As soon as we heard about the witch, we packed our bags. The trip will take 2 days, so it’s best if we leave now. I packed in some of my clothes, since I don’t need all of them. After we packed our things, we loaded them into the car.

I went to the kitchen, as Tatum was packing in snacks. I will have to leave her here, she is pregnant. Since I won’t be here, I will have to tighten the security.

“Hey, travel safe okay?”

“Sure, will do.”

I kiss her on the cheek, and I kiss her belly.

“Thank you for the snacks babe.”

“Pleasure. Enjoy.” She says as I get into the car.

We drive off as Tatum and Kendall wave.

“I hope you boys are good at sleeping in a car, because this will be a long road trip.”

Amar sighs heavily.

“Please don’t even remind me.”

One more day left, and we will be there. I miss my bed, my soft warm bed.

“What is this woman’s name by the way?” I asked Amar.

“Her name’s Matilda.” He says looking up from his phone.

“How do you know her?”

“She’s a family friend. When my parents died, she took care of me. Raised me like her own.

“Oh wow. Must probably be awesome to grow up with someone who specializes in potions.”

Amar chuckles.

“Yeah, you get it for free. No need to pay.”

Soon Zack’s stomach starts to growl.

“Do you have some snacks Calum? I’m starving.”

After 2 day’s of travelling, we made it. We arrived at a place called Meadow Ridge. It’s a small village consisting of witches only.

“Well, here we are boys. Welcome to the little town that I grew up in.” He says as he leads the way.

“How did it feel to be the only werewolf growing up amongst witches?”

“It felt awesome, it wasn’t too bad. Everyone loved me, they still do. I used to get spoiled a lot growing up.”

“Niccccceee.”

Everyone knew him, and greeted him as we were driving through the village. He introduced us to everyone. We eventually came to a light grey house, not too big, but big enough.

Amar knocks 3 times, soon we heard the voice of a woman. Her voice alone scared the living daylights out of me.

“Why won’t you bloody people leave me alone?! You guys are making it a habit by kno—“

She opens the door and stops talking immediately. She looks at Amar, then smiles. She looked at each of us, and she smiled even more.

Her eyes were mostly on Joshua, my grandpa. I just looked at him and smirked. My grandfather is still handsome at his age.

Seems like someone’s got a crush on you.” I tell him via mind link.

Shut up mutt!

I almost burst out laughing.

“Welcome boys, come on in.”

She says blushing.
