It’s was a sunny day i was coming from my extra classes that we were forced to attend feeling exhausted and also irritated at the same time .Wearing my shoes that have seen better days and my legs ashy like i didn’t mosturised them with vaseline that morning but that was not my focus my only focus was getting at home and throwing myself in my old double sized bed which i shared with my cousin Bongiwe

.Minding my business when suddenly i heard a whistle i avoided it thinking it’s was one of those junkies who stayed at the pakistan shops all day and continued with my long walk to freedom when i head tires screeching infront of me a scream escaped my dry lips i just knew then that it’s was about to get down That was a norm to us sowetans the gunshots in broad daylight, robbery and also killing but i still couldn’t get used to it ,it’s scared me all the time it happened.

I quickly tried to run away when He stepped out of the black gusheshe wearing a white t-shirt with black skinny jean with black and white nike jordan sneakers with his shades on . In the entire kasi he was known as Ntsimbi even i thought that the name suited him before i go any further I am Lerato Nkosi born and raised in soweto currently doing Matric and this is my journey.

He stared at me then whistle again i stared back wondering what he wanted .He took that as a permission to step closer and close the distance between us. He smelled good i must admit he smelled like a man ngolwimi lethu sithi unuka njengeNdoda .

Ntsimbi: sawubona Nkosazana kunjani?(he said to me with his hoarse voice staring at me expectadly)

I replied back

Lerato:Sawubona bhuti ngiyaphila wena unjani

I was very suprised about the sudden interraction between us from what i heard Ntsimbi was not one to communicate with strangers and also very scared knowing the kind of man Ntsimbi was made it worse there was a lot of questions swimming around my head i even forgot about my tiredness ….

What are you thought in the interaction between Ntsimbi and Lerato
