Londisizwe got ready for the feast he had not much of fancy clothes but he still looked good at least thats what her mother told her.
It was not always, one went to the royal house and that made him to be more excited.
“You shall give the King this sword, it is the finest sword he shall appreciate it.” Londisizwe nodded and the took sword.
Everyone he passed on the street had a gift for the King to show appreciation. The big walls of the royal house came into view unlike usual where the guards stood there blocking the gate today the let them walk in.
He was so excited when he walked in and saw thay no one was excluded or sat aside, everyone was mixed together from the richer to the poorer.
His stomach growled a little when he saw the food, which looked appetising.
“You can take.” The guard said when he saw him looking at the food “It is finger food they are not meant to fill you.”
Londisizwe nodded and took the chicken in a little stick and took a bite, the chicken rolled off his tongue not once had he tasted such a delicacy.
He went in a line which people had formed to go give the King his presents.
He walked closer and close when it was his turn he took out the sword side of his pants and gave it to the King “My father Nqoba asked me to give you this gift, it is one of the finest swords that he had made. He apologises for not being the one giving it to you.”
The King took the sword and took it out of it’s cap and displayed a beautiful silver and purple sword with the handle shaped like a dragon.
The King smiled “I know your father, we use his swords to fight battles, and this sword is perfect give him my thanks.” He said placing it on the table on the table instead on the side.
He smiled as he went to stand on the side where he waited for the feast to started.
