Londisizwe
The first thing he did, he looked for Langelihle, he had known him for a few hours but he had now considered him a friend.
He never had that many friends growing up and now he was greatful to have one.
He half ran looking for him, his heart thumping on his chest praying that he is not dead, “Londisizwe.”
Londisizwe looked around at the voice and he found his friend holding his knees “I see you made it, I was worried that you wouldn’t.” Langelihle said standing up right.
“I couldn’t afford to die.”
They walked back at the open cage door, he was tired and all he wanted to do was sleep, even though he was still shaken about what happened today he was glad, he was glad that it was all over at least for today.
He didn’t know what tomorrow held for him and he didn’t want to think about it.
Even though he didn’t want to his mind went straight to Zobuhle, She felt her eyes on him as he fought, all he wanted wasba chance just one chance to tell her that he didn’t do it, that he wasn’t the one who killed his father, the King.
Looking around tge caged roon they were in there were so much less people and much less noise unlike before there weren’t many people who were talking, everyone was sitting quickly as if they were thinking about the day they all had, having to escape death like that.
He sat on the vacant bed with Langelihle by his side and wondered whether Zobuhle would even believe him.
He slightly shook his head, why would she even believe him, he was nothing to her.
