She sat on the bed as she thought about what her son had just done, it all felt like a nightmare.

Her husband had just been killed and Bhekokwakhe already wanted to be King. Everything was falling apart as she watched, her son had just changed into someone she hardly knew.

By the law he was meant to be the King but he was not fit to be King, all the beautiful work her husband had done will go to ruins and all she could do is just sit and watch.

She walked out of her chambers with her head held up high refusing to show that her son’s action had shaken her.

She did not bother knocking ad she opened the door of her daughter’s room, Zobuhle had always been different, having had 2 boys she had finally gotten a baby girl and she had thought that she could teach her to be the princess that she was meant to be but instead she chose not to follow the rules.

She sat by her side and sighed “How are you.”

Zobuhle stopped sharpening her arrows as she looked at her like she was crazy “What is it?”

“I know how close you and your father were so I..”

“I’m okay.” She said cutting her off.

“I know I have always been harsh on you about to behave, how to act or dress.”

“Yes you have.”

“I’m sorry.” it was not often enough that she would say the word sorry.

“What’s going on mother.”

“A lot of things are going to change, your brother Bhekokwakhe placed himself as the King.”

“What?” She said as she stood up “How.”

“I just want you to be prepared for any changes that might happen.” Because she knew it was just a matter of time.
