Londisizwe

Londisizwe walked into the Kings room carrying the sword Bhekokwakhe had advised him to bring it and he happily obliged. The room was so large that he could barely believe it, it could accommodate his house 8 times.

Not wanting to wake the King up, he placed the sword besides the bed and quickly got out so as to not make any sound.

On his way out he saw Zobuhle, like always she was not dressed in any puffy dress like how a princess was supposed to. He watched her as she stormed out, he followed her.

He could not help himself if it were up to him he would have spent hours just looking at her.

He watched her as she took arrows and started shooting at the far away tree and not once did she miss, they all landed at the centre of the tree.

“Are you going to stand there and watch me like a stalker.” Zobuhle asked without turning around as she took out another arrow.

His heart almost stopped, how? How did she hear him? He got out of the shadows and slowly walked up to her.

She turned around handed him the arrow and the bow “Shoot.” She said stepping aside.

Suddenly his hands started to shake, he took a deep breath trying to calm his nerves and aimed the arrow and took one last breath before he released it.

His cheeks flushed with embarassment as the arrow landed on the side of the tree.

“Not bad, now care to tell me why you were following me?”

“I… I don’t know, I know how much you like playing with a sword I thought maybe I could see you.”

She looked at him, not once did she remove her eyes “Are you at least better with a sword?”

He shrugged “Let’s find out.”

Zobuhle nodded and gave Londisizwe a sword and stood her ground “Show me what you got.”

He nodded and landed his sword but Zobuhle easily blocked it with her own sword and pushed him back “Don’t go easy on me just cause I’m your princess and a girl.”

He bounced on his feet and started cutting through air as Zobuhle skipped the attack, and landed her first attack, she moved so fast that it was a little hard to keep up.

She brought her sword up as if bringing it on top of his head and he quickly blocked it, she then brought it near the stomach and just as was blocking it she somehow removed the sword from his hands.

He lifted up his hands watching her pointing the sword on his neck.

“I told you not go easy on me.” she said backing away and dropped her sword on the ground.

“Or maybe you are just too good.”

She shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly “What’s your name?”

“Londisizwe, Princess Zobuhle.”

She shook her head “Please just Zobuhle.” She said offering him a little bit of a smile.
