Amina sat on her bed counting her first payment she received from Zvanembe . She gloating laughed to herself when she realised that she has become a millionaire in one day . Soon she will buy her parents a big mansion and herself too and she spend her money on cosmetic treatment and travel all around the world with her best friend .
Throwing the money in the air , letting it shower onto her face , Amina jumped up with joy . Her job is so simple and easy , it’s not even that difficult . All you need to do is know how to manipulate and play along .
Throwing herself down on the bed , Amina looked up and smiled to herself. She fantasies her life as being a queen . Now how will she convince people that her job pays so well that she ends up becoming a millionaire .
” What should I do ? ” she murmured to herself , sitting up straight .

Amanda lay on the couch with her legs stretched out . She was now thinking about her job and love life . Amanda is in love with her hot boss ,but only in love with him because he is her boss and she wishes to somehow deceive him into giving her a promotion at work so that her salary could go up . On the other hand her heart lies with Xhanti . Xhanti is everything she would want in a guy . His tall , a little bit muscular and light skinned . He is so good in bed that’s the only reason she is unable to let go of him. She wants to have the both of them in her life because both of them are important to her but unfortunately she can’t and she will have to come to a point where she will have to choose one . Now who will she choose ?
” Maka “called Amanda
” Yes ” answered Maka , walking out of her bedroom .
” Can you get me a glass of water ”
Maka stoped to stare at Amanda wondering if she heard correctly . Did Amanda just call her out of her room to send her to tap her water . ” Amanda has been using me for way to long now ,and has been selfish to me since the day I arrived , sending me up and down treating me like I am her child , refusing to help me apply for my job ” she said to herself.
” Excuse me ” Maka said holding her hips with her mouth open in shock
” I asked for water ”
” Amanda , I came here in South Africa to work as a cardiothoracic surgeon and not your maid ”
” Excuse me , wait , wait ” she said sitting up and giggling
” I don’t care , for you to come to this place ,it’s my money I used to book you a plane ”
” And didn’t I pay you back and you said no it’s fine keep the money ”

Maka could not believe her ears , her tears wanted to drop but the anger she had inside held the tears back . She clenched her fist and locked her jaws . She raised her right hand and gave Amanda a warm slap that made her wig fly out .

Gogo watched how Grace cleaned around the house . She was not that good because she left many dirty marks . Observing Grace , Gogo made a note that Grace is very quiet and probably secretive too . The first time she talked with her it seemed as if Grace was a talkative person but now that she gets to know her it seems as if Grace is not the person she met a few days ago . She even acts strange . Whenever Gogo turns up unexpected to her she turns and looks at Gogo with dead fearing eyes that tells her WHY ARR YOU DISTURBING MY PEACE . And immediately Gogo leaves her . Why is Grace like that , why does she give Gogo deadly eye looks whenever Gogo walks up to her when she is sitting down under the shade looking far into the north. It’s as if she has something that troubles her and just wants to be alone .
Seeing how Grace , sweeps the yard with her mind too focused onto it. Gogo wonders what stresses Grace , what runs through her mind that has made her become moody .
” Grace come inside ” Gogo said .
Grace drops her broom down and walks to Gogo who was standing by the door , watching her clean .
” Yes gogo ” she replied sounding almost annoyed .
” Are you fine ”
” Ehe I am fine ”
” I don’t seem fine , for these past few days you seem like you not well”
” You will not understand my problems Gogo and I don’t want to weigh you with them ” Grace said with her voice becoming brittle as if she wants to cry .
” Listen you can tell me anything , you don’t have to keep it to yourself and come to walk looking like this ”
” My life is just a nightmare ” she suddenly starts to cry .

Amanda touched her cheeks and immediately returned the slap then ran into her bedroom and angrily pulled her wardrobe open and took out a Pistol . She thundered to the dining room and pointed the gun towards Maka’s forehead .
Panic lent wings into her feet , she was scared out if her skin. Where did Amanda get a gun ? And what is she doing with a gun ? With Maka’s eyes wide open with panic , Amanda took steps closer and pressed the gun against her forehead .
” I will kill you If you dare me ”
No words could come out of Maka’s mouth . Her heart raced like a farrari and her body sweat like a window filled with evaporation .
” No go down on your knees ” ordered Amanda
Without hesitation Maka did as she was told .
” Now apologize to me ”
” I am sorry , I am sorry ”
” No no not like that not like that ” shouted Amanda slightly pressing the gun even more against Maka’s forehead making Maka scared . ” I want you to say , I am sorry my queen for slapping you , I would never do it again ”
” Oky oky I am sorry my queen for slapping you I would never do it again ”
” Now kiss my feet ”
” Your feet ”
” Yes my feet , if you want to live ”
Tears rolled down Maka’s cheeks as she bent down to kiss Amanda’s feet .
Smiling to herself Amanda took the gun away from Maka’s forehead and slapped her once again .
” If you ever in your life raise your hands at me , I will make sure that you are killed and fed to the wild animals in the zoo “

Listening to Grace’s life story ,Gogo felt as if she wanted to cry . Grace grew up a hard life just like any Zimbabwean but hers was worse. She was raised by her aunt’s who ware evil towards her . Her aunt’s treated her like some slave and made her believe that she was doing a great job and that how she worked was a way a woman should work but they ware actually using her . Her mother and father separated , her mother got married and moved on and wanted nothing to do with her own child same story with Maka’s mother . Maka’s mother left the state and never returned for 24 years.
Grace had to live with her father’s Sister while her father also abandoned her . Both of her parents abandoned her and left her in the arms of crocodiles . Recently when she was about to get married , she went to look for her parents and when she got at their houses , she received the message very well that she was not welcome . From that day she swore that she would never set her foot at their houses again .
After getting married 2 years in a marriage her husband declared a child . They tried for about 4 babies and all of them went straight to the grave .
” I want my husband to get another wife that’s all ”
” But you can’t force him , what if he gets another wife that will ill treat you , what if he will love that woman more then you and then , you will start getting jealous and you know what jealously does to us humans ”
” No Gogo my husband will find a good woman , and I will never be jealous because I know my husband loves me very much and me and that woman can never be the same despite our differences , I have already accepted the fact that I won’t have kids anytime soon ”
” You have a big heart my dear and very courageous not many woman have the guts to tell their husbands to look for another wife ”
