Amanda gave her a icy stare then rolled her eyes and said
” I am sorry , it’s just I can’t believe that I have been betrayed ”
” Betrayed by who ” asked Buhle taking a sip of her red wine

” What did he do ”
” He told Luvuyo about our affair , because I ended things with him “
Buhle’s eyes widened and she accidentally let the wine fall out of the glass onto her skirt .
” Ahhh mxm goshhh ”
” What is it ”
” I let the wine fall out ” she said getting up
” where was your eyes ? ”
” I was shocked to hear what you just told me ”
” Shocked to the point of letting your wine fall out ”
” Yes , are you gonna help me or not “

Maka finally finds the supermarket , she had forgotten the place since she has last been there 2 weeks ago .
Lucky for her this time Amanda gave her cash , and not her declining card that caused humiliation .
Just as she was about to Cross the road to go to the market that was opposite . A car in full speed came driving in her direction . Maka was frozen as if her feet was glued to the ground not knowing where to run to . And not knowing if she would make it to the other side . She ran over to the other side and the car in just a few metres drove past her and it’s brakes stopped .
Maka couldn’t believe it , her heart was beating uncontrollably . Was she just about to get knocked over .
God is really good . She bent down trying to catch some air after running .
The owner of the car , immediately stoped his brakes when he thought that he knocked the lady out . Without hesitation , he immediately got out of his car and rushed to Maka .
” Are you fine ” he asked .
“I am fine , I am fine ” she answered raising up .
Maka was shocked when she looked at the man . She recognises him , he is the man that helped her in the shop .
” Ohh hii ” she greeted him .
” Hello Ummm I think I recognise you , are you ..”
” Yes I am .I too recognise you ”
” I am so sorry for that now I didn’t mean to ”
” It’s oky ”
” It’s not , I could have hurt you ”
” But you didn’t ”
” I wouldn’t forgive myself if I did eish ”

” No but I know it’s him ”
” So what are you gonna do ”
” I am gonna have to think big , now ”

” Buhle I will see you later , I have got a man to satisfy”. She said getting up .
Buhle watched her friend march out of the restaurant leaving her alone.
She clicked her tongue then took out her phone .
” Why didn’t he stick to the plan , he doesn’t listen ” she seethed silently .

” Maka , from Zimbabwe , wow so you came all the way from Zimbabwe to be a surgeon in South Africa ”
” Yes Mike , but unfortunately things changed ”
” What do you mean things changed ,what happened ”
” Umm I just couldn’t find the job ”
” Yeah Neh the system here just sucks a lot of young people are unemployed Shem so what are you currently doing ”
” Umm I am a maid ” she answered trying to hide the anger in her tone .
” You sound like you don’t like the job ”
Maka swallowed hard before answering ” it’s nice ”
Mike glared at the time on his watch then said to Maka ” look I have to go see someone I will see you some other time ”
” Oky thank you once again for the milkshake ”
Maka waved goodbye to Mike then continued her journey going back home .
She held the groceries in her hand as she made her way across the road .
Mike sat in his car for a while watching Maka cross the road . There was just something about her , that kept him calm .
When he arrived at the mall , his anger was up to a 100 but suddenly when he began to chat with Maka , he seemed to forget his problems.
A moment later he drove away .

Gogo is even more worried now . Maybe Uncle Mark was right , maybe Maka isn’t safe and Amanda is lying about Maka being busy .
Amanda wouldn’t do that , she wouldn’t lie about her sister . Amanda can be many things but she would not harm her sister .
Those two love each other very much , nomatter how much Polite tried to keep them apart , the love and bond they share is irraseparable . Maybe Maka is actually very busy , she knows Maka will phone her . She has the hope .
Gogo continued her washing in the bucket . She needed to wash her church uniform and get it dry before tonight . She forgot to ask Grace to wash it for her yesterday .
There will be a all night prayer at church tonight that is why she has to get everything ready by herself .
Normally Maka would do it , she would make sure Gogos Bible is in her bag , her grandpa for unexpected headaches , her handkerchief incase she feels like she wants to cry . You know sometimes at church they preach , and talk about heart broken things .
All of that , her grandchild used to do for her but now she is on her own . And its okay , she has the help of Grace so she will be okay .
Speaking of the devil , suddenly Grace arrived with a big smile on her face as usual . Things ware going great for her , she is a strong woman , gogo remarked .
Not every woman can have the heart that she has , to bring another wife to give her husband a child . And be all excited and happy about it . She surely has a great heart .
” Good morning gogo ” Grace greeted , full of enthusiasm
” Hello Grace , these days you are very happy ”
” But ofcause Gogo , when things are about to go your way , you need to celebrate ”
” Celebrating in advance ? ” Gogo asked with a pointy look.

” Then what do you do , when the day of celebratory comes ? ”
” We celebrate even more Gogo ”
” So tell me are you very excited like this , because your husband will marry another wife and she will give birth to your kids or Is there something else ”
” What something else could there be Gogo . Yes I am I mean finally in the house we will have a baby , crying ”
” Grace tell me , what happens when that lady decides to treat you bad together with your husband because you do not have any child ”

Maka is in the kitchen , packing the groceries away . She looks at the SIM card that she bought today , she took the risk . She hopes Amanda will not find out that she used her money to buy a SIM card . Neither that but Amanda must not even find out that she has a sim card . Because Amanda does not want her to be in contact with anyone .
She slides the SIM card into her pocket , and continues packing the groceries . Suddenly there is a knock on the door .
Who could it be . Nobody ever comes knocking on the door this time . It’s seems like Amanda is not friends with her neighbours .
Maka opens the door . She rolls her eyes in irrigation , it’s Xhanti .
” What do you want Xhanti , Amanda is not here ”
” Could she be the only reason why I should come here ”
” Ofcause she is the love of your life , I don’t know but maybe you want her to kill you ”
” Amanda could never be the love of my life ”
” Oky whatever , so why are you here ”
” You look beautiful today ”
” Xhanti why are you here ”
” Maka do you also hate me because your boss hates me “
