Manyika sat back in the black leather chair and watched his mother make him some tea
After a moment , his mother came holding two cups . She handed Manyika his cup and sat down opposite him , smiling beatifically at her son . She was very happy to see him it has been a long time since she seen him , the last time she saw him was Christmas a until then it was only calls.

” But you don’t look fine , why do you look so thin ” she aske

Manyika rolled his eyes and shook his head . Had his mother knew the story she wouldn’t be thinking otherwise . He didn’t bother to tell his mother because he was convinced that his mother would be the one to pressure him into marrying another wife . It was even shocking that she never questioned about Grace giving her grandchildren , she was just quiet about it like she didn’t care . But now it’s all clear , his mother didn’t care because she doesn’t like Grace . How come he never saw this , his mother is probably one of the best actors the world can get

Manyika made no response , he was annoyed by his mother . Why was it that mother in law’s and daughter in law’s find it difficult to get along . At first he thought that their relationship was solid and that he was serendipitous that his mother and wife gets along , but now it seems that it was all fake

Amanda wended into Mr Vumani’s office. She pulled out a chair and sat down . Putting her elbows on the table , propping her chin in her hands. She admired his handsomeness . Listening to Grace sing . Gogo is awestruck by the happiness she sees in Graces mood . She has not seen Grace so happy since the first day she met her . peeping through the window , Gogo laughed to herself. She hopes Grace listened and took her advice .
As Gogo sat down on her chair . She continued to knit . This time Gogo was knitting a doll . She was knitting a doll for her first great grandchild . Whoever, between makanaka and Amanda gives birth first will take the teddy bear and gift it to their baby and say to he/ him that Great Gogo says welcome. She does this because she does not know if she will be alive when her first grandchild is conceived . For somewhere in the world like this with so many diseases that old peeps get like Alzheimer , diabetes, Blood pressure and many more . She is lucky to be fit and alive , but everyday of waking up and breathing Gogo feels as if her last days are near. Maybe she feels this way because she is lonely and old . Often when you lonely you feel a lot more depressed and anxious .
Cutting into Gogos thoughts was Grace . She walked in on Gogo while Gogo was daydreaming about herself dying anytime soon .
” Gogos are you fine ” asked Grace .
