Melokuhle

It has been 3 full weeks since I have been here and counting, by now I thought I would be home maybe even trying to adjust but I’m still here locked up in this room, it was even starting to suffocate me.

Tears were no longer there maybe because I had lost all the hope that I had or maybe I was just exhausted.

The door opened and it was the maid to my surprise she wasn’t carrying any tray this time “Please follow me.” My brows furrowed in confusion, without hesitation I put on my shoes and followed the maid, she led me outside on the patio where the breakfast at.

Surprised at the sudden change I sat down and take a deep breath, the air smelled wonderful, different even.

Never have I thought I would find myself outside again but here I was. I smiled as I dished for myself a fruit salad.

Not knowing when this little freedom of mine will last, I told myself that I will enjoy it to the fullest.

My heart skipped a bit probably in fear of seeing Melusi in the furthest part of the garden talking on the phone.

He looked angry in a way, as I took a bite of my pineapple as I continued to watch him, he was dark like a dark chocolate, his face was firm but in a gentle way, his hair was cut short and yeah he was good looking.

I have never seen his body but I was sure that underneath that suit he had a fine body. If he wasn’t my kidnapper I would have fallen head over heels in love with him.

He quickly turned in my direction and face turned red from the embarassment of being caught looking.

Me with my pride, I didn’t shift my eyes. It was as if he was a bit surprised to see me here but he quickly masked it off and continued shouting angrily on the phone.

It was either the way he looked at me or the way he was shouting whatever it was it did something to my body, it made me all hot and bothered.

I quickly shift my eyes no longer able to look at him and continued with my fruit salad, when I looked up again he was long gone.
