Chapter 1



“You are not going anywhere unless you bring that guy over here.” My father said not looking at me while reading his newspaper. I tried to protest and even begged my mother not to allow this to happen but she just shrugged her shoulders telling me without having to tell me that she was not getting involved in this and that I must handle it on my own. 

 Menzi laughed, looking at me biting into his apple. You would swear that he is older than me when I am older than him by 10 months, with his body built in such a big way, he makes ladies turn their heads when he passes by, what do they even see in him?

Menzi should be at my corner, he should be backing me up as his sister but he completely agrees with my father.

Menzi has successfully ruined each of my relationships, no guy in school even wants to come close to me. It is either they are afraid of Menzi or my father who is considered to be ruthless out there in the streets.

If it were up to them, I would be sick forever.

I don’t even know how this is considered to be fair, Menzi changes girls like how he changes his sneakers, but me having a boyfriend seems like I have committed the worst crime there is in the world.

 I groaned throwing myself on my bed, I am 17 soon to be 18 but I am treated like I am 8 years old. I take the pillow and scream on it, allowing it to swallow in my screams.

I can’t wait to be going to varsity next year far away from this prison that I consider a home. I will make sure that next year I go into a far away varsity, where I can breathe and break my virginity on my 18th birthday and go out clubbing like a normal teenager without being treated like a literal kid.
