Melokuhle
I gasped when I saw Melusi walk in all bloodied and dirty. “What happened to you?” I asked hurrying over to him, helping him to sit down on the couch and went to get the first aid kit.
Melusi winced as I cleaned his wound with some alcohol rub, “Just some guy got angry and challenged me in to a fight.”
I sighed “And you stupidly fought.” How did I managed to get such a stupid partner who decides to come home looking like he was clawed by a bear.
He shrugged “I didn’t want to look like I was scared.” He reasoned and winced again as the cotton wool touched him on the lips.
“Will you stop being a baby.” I said sitting him still “Number 1 we don’t get in fights okay? Number 2 if you do make sure you don’t lose.”
Melusi looked at me with a side smile “Now who won?” I asked.
“Obviously me.” He laughed “Aw” He touched his ribs “It’s best that I avoid laughing for now.”
“That’s probably for the best I wouldn’t want you to break a rib.” I kissed him making sure I do it softly that I don’t hurt him.
He picks me up and places me carefully on the couch and started kissing again, as my hands started moving around his muscled body he winced again. I sighed “Yeah get up buddy.” I said.
Melusi pouted looking all damn cute “But I want you and I want you now.”
“Not with those wounds you don’t.” I slided down on the floor since Melusi refuses to move. He sat up straight and looked at me like I had denied him his favourite toy.
“I’ll go make us some snacks, you put on a movie.” I made my way to the kitchen and heard a resigned “Fine.” From Melusi. Sometimes I forget how much of a kid he is, but whenever we step out of the door you will swear he never smiles.
And I like it better like this, when I am the only one who can make him crack a smile.
