Melokuhle

I was surprised that I even said yes, even though I was against going to our parents for approval seemed, old fashioned. I was happy with just signing at the home affairs or eloping but Melusi didn’t want any of that.

Even though the idea of a bodyguard seemed a bit crazy I had welcomed the idea.

After a whole year without no technology or meeting people I was finally going to be in a place where I can be around people again, I had actually missed all of that, even though Melusi worked from home and used devices that were impossible to be tracked I barely used any of them.

“How are you feeling?” Melusi asked, helping me close my bag. I shrugged, to be honest I was nervous, nervous to be in a real world again. I wondered if many things have changed if they were still the same.

I had missed a whole year of my studies, I when list touch with my friend. There was a lot I had to deal with and try to put my life in order again.

“I was thinking, since there won’t be any hiding that I can go back to school and finish up with my studies.”

“Yeah of course.” He nodded to the bags “I am going to put them in the car.”

I looked around the house I have called a home in the past couple of months and now I was leaving, the place held so many memories that I was sure going to miss.

“You ready?” Melusi asked, standing at the doorway.

I gave the house a final look locking all the memories inside and walked over to him “Let’s do this.”
