My wife Christina sitting back as she watched Detective as he continued talking. She has not been herself for a while now.

She barely slept or ate all that she has been doing was search for Melokuhle, I watched as she blamed herself for agreeing to put her in a mental facility.

The woman I fell in love with and whom I have been married with for over 30 years has now disappeared into nothingness, she has given up all hope in life, gave herself and into drinking and smoking which were two things she hated.

“What about that guard you told us about, from that facility” I asked.

“Thomas? Yes we found him. He disappeared a little short after your daughter’s disappearance, he was in East London but we brought him back here.”

“And?” I asked anxiously.

“He admitted that he was paid a large sum of money to let the person in and and he agreed but he could not see his face, he admitted he had never done this before it was just this time because he was in desperate need of money.”

I stood and paced the small cramped office “I bet I know who it is.”

“Let’s not make any assumptions here Mr Mbatha.” He said looking at me as I paced “You must let us investigate.”

“Fine.” I said standing besides my wife “I’ll let you investigate but can you check up on Melusi Xaba.”

The detective nodded as if he was ready for us to leave “I’ will.”

I nodded and turned to my wife as she stood up, I held her gently by the waist as I led her out the door.

I hated having to see my wife this which is why I would make sure that I find my daughter and make that good for nothing bastard pay.
