Bavumile

The plan was simple act like nothing was going on, don’t look around and don’t act nervous. Simple.

The car ride was so intense, my heart was racing knowing that a lot was to happen soon. Samantha was something else, she was crazy. She was the crazy that drove me absolute wild.

I had to listen for signal coming from her that it was soon going to go down and there I heard it, three tappings came from her foot telling me that in exactly 5 minutes chaos was about to brew.

My heart was on my throat, my hands were sweaty, I couldn’t even believe that I would be taken away in exactly 5 minutes.

The screeching of the tires and the halting of the car almost made me to topple over.

It was happening.

Gunshots were fired, Samantha pulled me down as a bomb was thrown not far away, my ears went deaf for minute of two, I didn’t have time to react before Samantha dragged me out of the car.

We ran to a red old Mazda car with tinted windows and got inside the car and driver sped off, it was really happening.

I could still hear gunshots being fired behind us but I didn’t dare to look. “Your belongings are at that briefcase, everything you may need is there.” The driver said so calmly as if he was always doing something like this in his everyday life.

I looked at Samantha as she took out her hair pin and started working on uncuffing my handcuffs. “I have been teaching myself.” She said as the handcuffs came off and threw her arms around me, it felt nice having to wrap my arms around her and squeeze her tight.

We quickly changed out of our clothes, Samantha gave me a business suit that I quickly changed into. It was nice not having to be on those orange suit anymore.

Samantha also changed her clothes and put on some formal clothes and a brunette wig.

I held her hand tightly never wanting to let her go.
