It was the day of the trial Shawn and I were at the court ready to here the outcome of all of this.

When Ndumiso walked in he looked at me, when he turned to my side his eyes almost popped out of his head when he saw Shawn.

He turned pale from all the shock, but seeing Simon testify against him was what made him lose his mind all together.

Not believing that his other right hand man was betraying him like this.

The judge came into the ruling so fast that he didn’t see the point of waiting another week to say what it was already decided.

I held my breath as I waited at the edge of my seat. When the judge said that he will get life in prison with no possibility of parole. The whole court erupted with joy.

The journalists were taking pictures, others were ready to interview us. But I was glad that I will no longer have to see Ndumiso ever again.

I was content eith Naledi knowing Shawn as his father.

I embraced Shawn as soon as we got out of the court room.

“Anything you have to say about today’s decision.” One journalist asked, shoving a recorder on my face. I looked at Shawn and back at the journalist. “Just that, every dig has it’s day.”

“How do you feel?” “Are you happy?” “Do you hate him.”

All of the journalist asked some even shouting to be heard but Shawn opened the way for me to pass.

A lot of things had happened but I was glad that the court proved that no one is above the law.
