Tsholofelo being a naive person insisted that he comes inside. He did come in and was offered food and water. As he ate Tsholofelo stared at him with a heavy heart as tears rolled down her chicks. Her pain was written all over her face even a passerby could tell she’s in pain just by looking at her. After eating he just went inside the bedroom and slept as if nothing happened and Tsholofelo was left there to have a conversation all by herself. A plethora questions popped her mind as she continued to be surprised by Keabetswe’s behaviour.

She then wiped her tears and continued with what she was busy with before. Tsholofelo was intelligent and had obtained perfect results in matric but she couldn’t further her education as she was heavily pregnant. She sacrificed her future for him but he chose to go sleep instead of apologising and begging for forgiveness. This was a norm in their relationship as he would cheat on her, physically abuse her and hurt her in the worst possible ways and don’t apologize instead he would act as if nothing happened.

Tsholofelo hoped that some day he’ll change but it gets worse. After that Tsholofelo went to her friend’s house to vent. As always Oleboheng her friend gave her comfort and adviced her to leave that place and come live with her and urged her to further her studies and stop caring so much for Keabetswe and for once put herself first. Tsholofelo just nodded but that wasn’t her intention as she was blinded by her love for Keabetswe that she couldn’t differentiate right from wrong.

Abused people never know when to quit and put themselves first Tsholofelo was no exception. She went back and took Oleboheng’s advice for granted. As she prepared food for supper acting as a decent wife who was not even married she thought about what to do next since the devil has returned to her hell. She didn’t even notice that Keabetswe was not around. She dishes up and called him to come and eat after getting no response she went to his room and saw an empty room.

She waited for hours for him and every time someone knocks she ran to the door hoping it was him and he didn’t show up. Around 2 am there was a very unpleasant knock when she ran to the door only to find police outside. They greeted and asked if this was Keabetswe’s resident. She agreed as she panicked and she was told that her husband had been attacked for another woman at a tarven nearby and is on his way to hospital. They had to come and let her know. Without even thinking twice she went to her bedroom and collected money and went to the hospital.

When she arrived there she was not allowed inside. As the patient was still being attended to. She waited for some time before heading back home at around 6 am. She didn’t sleep a wink for someone who didn’t even care about her. Still her love never faded. Later she returned to hospital and saw him this time. And as expected she cried as the person she loved was still lying there helpless. Few days later he was discharged. And the person who nursed him was Tsholofelo. She took care of him until he recovered completely.
