Nobuhle is relieved that her sister-in law has left but she’s afraid that when the truth comes out they might not have a place to stay.

Xolani might not have an issue with what she did with his cousin since he’s moved on with his life but the family will be shocked because Xolani’s cousin has a wife and her sister-in-law would do anything to destroy her.

On their last family meeting Nobuhle was threatened to be thrown out of Xolani’s house if she doesn’t tell the truth.

Sending her to Johannesburg to go look for Xolani was one of their plans to make Xolani come back home so he can be the one who decides on what to do with this matter.They don’t know the real reason for him not to come back home.

Nobuhle has thought long and hard about her decision of making sure that her secret never comes out.Before she goes to the hospital she checks on her son who have been locking himself in their room since she came back.

“Clearly something is happening with my son but why doesn’t he talk to to me,” Nobuhle says talking to herself,worried about her son.

She starts knocking calling her son’s name but she gets no response from him.

“I can hear there’s someone inside,please open the door I need to talk to you about what happened at School.Open up please,what kind of behavior is this and since when do you lock yourself when you are into trouble.Open this door!”

She gets no response and finally gives up and heads out without telling her son she’s going out.

She catches a taxi and goes to the hospital to see her mother-in-law.When she gets to the hospital her mother-in-law looks better than the last time she saw her and she’s able to speak.She grabs a chair and sits next to her bed and ask her about the things she said to her sister-in-law before she was admitted to the hospital.

“The truth will set you free my child.Xolani and the rest of the family deserves to know the truth,” Nobuhle’s mother-in-law says.

“Xolani knows but the family can’t know about this.I’ve already lost him to someone else and now you want me and my kids to be homeless?” Nobuhle ask.

“You should have thought about that before you slept with another women’s husband.If you don’t tell them yourself then you leave me no choice but to tell them.I’m tired of keeping this secret,my son have a right to know what you did with his cousin.”

“No you can’t tell anyone about this,don’t forget you are the one who told me to keep it as a secret,” Nobuhle says.

“As soon as I get home I will ask my daughter to call a family meeting.I will put an end to this.”

Nobuhle quickly grabs the cushion and suffocates her mother-in-law.Everything happens so fast.When she finally comes back to her senses she realize her mother-in-law is dead.She start pacing up and down around the ward regretting what she’s done.The minute she hears the footsteps,she quickly rushes to the door pretending like she’s in need of help.But when she see the person wasn’t coming into the ward she grabs her handbag and runs out of the ward.She catches a taxi and goes back to the village and pretend like nothing happened.

After she left to the hospital,a boy came in demanding to speak to her son about what happened at School and Nobuhle’s son let him in.

“My mom can’t find you here,you need to go.I don’t want to get into trouble again,” Nobuhle’s son says trying to push the boy out.

“I know your mom is not here,I saw her when she left.Why are you avoiding me?” The boy ask.

“I’m not.I just don’t want my mother to find out about us.Please go I’ll see you at School.”

“Okay,I understand,” The boy says,getting close to Nobuhle’s son.They start kissing and Nobuhle walks in on them still kissing.

Nobuhle beat them with her handbag before she reaches the wooden spoon,but the other boy manage to escape and she’s left dealing with her own son who’s bleeding in his head,asking for forgiveness.

“A boy? You are kissing boys in my house?”

Her son begs for forgiveness but everything just reminds Nobuhle of Xolani and now she’s taking it out on her son.

“Of all the things you would do to hurt me you choose to be like your father who left me for Mcebisi.What got into you,huh? I might as well just kill you just like I did with your grandmother…”

Her sister-in-law snatches the wooden spoon and start attacking her with it,asking her to repeat what she just said about her mother.Her sister-in-law is the first person the hospital called about her mother-in-law’s passing and she decided to call her cousin and come back home immediately.

Xolani stops the fight and tell the child to go to his room.

“What did my mother do to you that made you to kill her?” Nobuhle’s sister-in-law ask and starts weeping.It’s true when they say the truth always have a way of coming out.Nobuhle said it herself without being asked or Interrogated by anyone.The neighbors comes running wanting to find out what is happening.

“You will rot in jail for this.You killed my mother and now you want to kill my brother’s child?” She takes out her cellphone and calls the police.
