This is a story of encouragement, of a young girl who try to encourage others to follow their dreams so they don’t pass through the life she lived.

There was a girl named Unity. She lives with her mother, older sister, younger sister and five younger brothers. They all live in a 3 room RDP house, no one is working. Unity was in grade 5 when she had a dream to find well paying job👮,so she can build a big 🏯house for her family. She wanted to be a soldier and to travel around the world see places🌉🎪🌆 because she never traveled, that was her dreams. Unity is an introverted person,she didn’t like boys,she didn’t like to be around many people, she didn’t have friends. She was a quiet person at school,she used to stay indoors. Unity saw how her family lived💔😔,how her younger brothers used to fight over one pair of shoes, she wanted to end that,she wanted to chase her dreams. Unity had no stress about how they live at home because she was still at school. She passed all grades, from grade 5,6,7 and then went to high School, she had a courage to change their life style. She used to think to her self that one day she will wear matric t-shirt written grade 12, year 20.. at the back. She did not know that her life will change😔. She repeated grade 8 twice and went to grade 9 , that was the time she met with a man and they fall in love💑. Unity was 17 years old when she met with that 25 years old man. The man was 8 years older than her, he dropped out of school while he was in grade 8. The man impregnated🤰 Unity at the age of 17 years old, but it was the end of 2019 December when she find out that she’s pregnant. She was afraid to tell her mother, but her mother noticed🧐 that she did not use her sanitary pads,the plastic was still full of pads. Unity’s mother was a strict person🤬😠,no child would do any mistakes,all Unity’s siblings were afraid of their mother. Her Mother knew her as a decent child who listens to the elders,a child who love to stay indoors playing, but no she used to lie to her mother that she is going to sleep at her sister’s house. Unity gave that man more time than school work,she loved to spend more time with him. The man is working part time job, but Unity loved him as he is,he is unemployed. Unity’s mother was upset 😡about her pregnancy, while Unity didn’t believe that she was pregnant. She went to the clinic for pregnancy test,the test showed two lines which means she’s pregnant. She went back home and she was afraid to confirm her pregnancy to her mother, she told her mother that she is truly pregnant,her mother was angry and she asked Unity,”so what are you saying about school?”Unity suggest that she will go to School after the baby is born. Her mother told her that she is not going to live with a child who is not going to school,”no child of mine will live under my roof without going to school”. Unity had no other option because the father of her unborn baby lived with his mother in a same house, luckily the schools had to be shutdown because of covid-19😷. Not everyone is lucky, follow your dreams first as they say books before boys because boys bring babies. Unity gave birth in 22 January 2021 and the schools re-opened on 24 of February 2021 she went to grade 11, during grade 10 she used to hide her pregnancy only few people knew about her pregnancy. She went to grade 12 in 2022, still again she fall pregnant for this man, they were writing final exams. Unity was afraid and ashamed of this,she had to drop out again 😥😔💔. She wanted to abort the baby but she didn’t,then she had a miscarriage and then she completed her matric. Unity waited for the results to come out so she can find proper job to support her child and her family. The results came out, she passed with bachelor’s degree. Unity decided to take a gap year, that gap year she could have used it to apply for tertiary, she had another baby with the same man. Now Unity and her partner are unemployed. Sometimes Unity felt like she could commit suicide her children needed home to stay, food to eat and she needs to apply for 👩‍🎓👩‍🏫tertiary, their mother doesn’t live with them,no one can babysit her children she has to take care of her two children😭💔🙍👩‍👧‍👧. Her younger brothers needs new school shoes, school bags and money for lunch at school. Her dreams are shuttered,she can’t buy something nice for herself or her children. Unity still lives with this man, but the man told her that she’s still young and he is old, when she try to tell him that children need food, he tells her that he is unemployed. The man tell her that she is his burden after he refused her to go to find work,she is depending on him. Now Unity stucked with two children 🤱💔 in a unhappy relationship. She thinks of killing herself or just disappear. She cries day in and day out 😭💔🙍👩‍👧‍👧. What happened has happened 💑💏🤰🤱😭💔. Please follow your dreams, take your life serious. DON’T ALLOW A BOY TO DECIDE WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE AND YOUR BODY. Your families are the ones who loves you and wish good things for you. LISTEN TO YOUR PARENTS AND YOUR TEACHERS. Now Unity can’t travel,she can’t do anything for herself,she is short tempered and has more anger issues. FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS 🙏👩‍🎓👮👩‍🔬👩‍✈️.
