Alexa cleared her thoughts and brought out her white lotus acting skills.

“Emily, no matter what, I am still your biological sister. You cannot abandon me like this.” Alexa started while staring at Emily with grievance in her eyes, looking like a bullied little flower.

She was sitting in a wheelchair, looking all fragile and weak which is the perfect appearance that easily gets sympathy from people around. The people could not help but stare at Emily with a different gaze.

Emily did not care about their judgmental gaze, rather she was amused and wondered where Alexa got the guts to display her acting skills in front of a perfect actress like her.

Wasn’t she afraid of losing face in public. Emily smiled coldly and put on the appearance of a bullied legitimate daughter.

“How…how can you call yourself my biological sister? My mother gave birth to only one child so how did you become my sister?”

Alexa felt embarrassed for being exposed, she had intentionally said that to mislead the audience in thinking that she was sisters with Emily, which was true. She wanted to use public opinion to force Emily to accept her back into the family.

But she never thought Emily who had always ignored her would say something like that in public, and tear face with her in public.

She cried harder when she thought of her present condition. This time, her tears were genuine; living a pampered life for a long time made it hard for her to adjust to her present situation.

The audience were once again surprised at Emily’s change of expression. They realized she was acting earlier but knowing the truth, they couldn’t bring themselves to judge her rather, they turned their gaze to Alexa.

Alexa’s reaction was wonderful. Her eyes seemed to pop out in shock. She couldn’t believe that Emily would really expose this issue in public.

The one thing she hated was the fact that she was an Illegitimate daughter.
