Emily’s opportunity came on her eighteenth birthday banquet. David declared her as the heir of Gold Corporation.

This was a company created by her mother, Becca, before she married David. Her mother had 25% shares in the company while her father had 5%. After marriage, he succeeded in convincing Becca to leave the company to him, making him the president of Gold Corporation.
