Thandiwe
The classes have now come to an end, all I wanted was to get to my room and sleep but I have to start to Mr Sibanda since he asked to talk to me when I was done with my classes.
I walked towards his office and slightly knocked.
“Come in.” He shouted. I opened the finding him marking our assignments he smiled when he saw me causing my heart to flutter, a lit of girls were talking about how hot Mr Sibanda is and he was indeed hot. I looked for a ring but the wasn’t. Every girl in the school was talking about him and now I saw why.
“Thandi.” My name rolled of his tongue like a butter melting on a toasted bread.
“Please take a seat, I will be done with you and be busy with you.”
The way he said it my made my cheeks flush.
He looked up when he was done marking and sat back on his chair making me catch a glimpse of his exposed chest from the unbuttoned shirt.
“I really hate to bother you.” He said sincerely “Can you help me carry these files to my cottage?”
I nodded and stood up, my dress was slightly up showing him a glimpse of my assets, I watched him looking at me licking his lips. I walked out making sure that I was walking on the front. I don’t know what had gotten into me bit I knew is that I didn’t plan to drag this that much.
“Where’s your cottage.” He shifted his eyes pretty quickly from my behind and pointed at house number 7.
He hurried to the front and went to open the gate. And soon we were in his home.
It was beautifully decorated, it had the homely feel.
The modern mismatched couches was the first thing I saw. “Where can I put this?”
He nodded towards the lounge “Thank you Thandi.” He pointed out as soon as I placed the files on the wooden table.
“Thandi.” He half shouted as I was about to walk out. “Yes.” I turned around and found him on the hallway. “I think you are beautiful, I know as your lecturer I’m jot allowed to tell you all of this but you are really beautiful a man that has you is indeed lucky.”
“I don’t have a man.” My mind was miles away from Sbonga, having promised to wait for him it was as if Mr Sibanda was washing away all thoughts of Sbonga away.
He came closer and left a gap between us “I’m a man and a single man at that. It gets lonely if you know what I mean. I knew what he meant but I chose not to comment.
Mr Sibanda carries on “I like you Thandiwe, I like you the very moment I laid my eyes on you. I think you are as beautiful as the sun that peaks at the early hours.”
No one has ever told me such words before, I smiled “Thank you.”
He came closer this time bringing me closer to him making me to hold grab on his chest. He kissed me making me kiss him back in the process. He pulled back and looked into my eyes “I will take care of you if you agree to be my girlfriend.”
I nodded, his words worked like a spell to me or was it his looks that made me agree I can never know.
He lets go of my waist and smiles “You have made me the happiest man on this university thus far. Tomorrow morning please meet me at the office.” I nodded as I fumbled to find the door handle “I’ll see you tomorrow.” I walked out of his home with my heart jumping up and down with happiness.
