Sindie

Shawn told me to take anything I wanted ignoring the price and offered to hold the baby while I roamed around the shops. He didn’t complain as I took him from one shop to another buying clothes for both I and Naledi. If Ndumiso planned to hurt me then I planned to spend the money like it was what I was born to do.

I looked behind me to see if I wasn’t leaving Shawn a little behind, my heart warmed as I saw him push the pram. I entered into Truworths and took different clothes with me to the fitting room.

I came out wearing a skin tight dress that showed every inch of my body. “How do I look.” I asked Shawn who was sitting on the chair with Naledi in his arms rocking her. His eyes rested on my body longer than expected. “It’s beautiful.” He said not offering more.

After showing him all the clothes, we went to pay now Naledi on my arms resting peacefully.

Shawn didn’t complain as held the many bags while he also pushed the stroller.
