Marco walked in smiling, he sat besides me while I poured him a glass of whiskey “Is he dead?”
Marco smiled even more “He’s dead alright, I saw his wife crying in the middle of the floor and when I passed I saw the doctors cover him with the blanket.”
I jumped up from my chair and smiled “Finally.” I said and downed my whiskey before slamming the glass down on the table.
“And we will be there on the funeral watching as that bastard is being lowered to the ground, 6 feet under.” I said as I smiled. “And we’ll attack strike then when they are weak and least expect it and I’ll take my girl and leave.”
Marco nodded as he got up “This is your chance to celebrate big man, I’ll leave you to it.” He said as walked out.
And he was right, it was time for me to celebrate, the man I hated was dead finally and definitely calls for a celebration.
Soon Naledi will be here, her room was already waiting for her to occupy it and I could not wait until that day arrived but for now I was going to celebrate just for today and tomorrow everything will be business as usual.
