Thandiwe



“Have a great day.” I said to Thandi as I kissed her forehead as she was eating her corn flakes. “See you later hun!”I shouted over to Sbonga as I hurried out of the door before he could say anything more.

Today I woke up early and had put on my most expensive perfume and had put on some make up.

I hurried over to the other street and there his car was perfectly parked. My face broke into a huge smile as I saw him inside. There was this tingling that I feel all through out my body when I am near him.

“Morning.” I said as I got inside the car. “Morning, I bought you some breakfast.”. He said as he hands me my cup of coffee and croissants “Thank you.” I said as I took a sip.

“You look different.” He said after a while as he looked at me before he turned. His eyes back on the road. “Oh yeah?” I ask.

He nods “Oh now I see you have make up on.”

I beamed as I nodded. I looked out of the window not able to look at Sello, he makes my stomach whenever I look at him and my heart to beat faster whenever he smiles. Whatever he would do makes my knees go weak.

“Thandiwe.” He says as he places his hand on top of mine, I turned to look at him “I have been thinking about you all night, I don’t believe I have slept a wink yesterday thinking about you.”

I smiled from ear to ear, “Me too.” I kept tossing and turning last night thinking about him, about his lips and his hands and kept imagining how he would kiss me. Will I be under his spell? Will I fall even harder this time?

“I know it’s too early.” He says as he parks the car “But I feel like I have to do this.” He clears his throat and smiles a little “I love you Thandiwe, I have never fallen for someone like this.” He says as he caress my cheek. “You don’t have to answer as yet, I just wanted to tell you.”

“Wow.” I say surprised, I never expected him to sat such. I take a deep breath wow indeed. “Thank you for telling me.” I open the door and get out as I was about to close it, I looked back inside abd smile “I’ll see you later.” And closed the door behind me, I felt like I was dreaming like none of this was real. I never believed I was capable of such happiness it felt so unreal.
