I got to her house and realised that I didn’t qualify. It crushed my ego and other emotions. I had to put that aside and become her friend.

When I arrived we weren’t on the same page, things were a bit rocky.

I soon began to meet traditional healers walking into the yard and I finally met the girl who had replaced me. An acquaintance I had met at an annual event.

I went back home trying to flush all these feelings down the toilet. It was hard and I could no longer keep them down.
