In a city called Eden, where despair, misery and poverty shackle the people to that wasteland, where dreams are snuffed out before they even have the chance to bloom, but that is the tale of only one side of the city, because the other is vibrant, full of life and lights up, like a thousand fire flies hording a single light bulb, there is a massive wall seperating the two sides called the crossing, for the people living in lower Eden say, that once you go past it, it’s like crossing over from hell to heaven.

Things weren’t always like this, yes there were poor and rich citizens in Eden, but never was there such a great wealth discrepancy, never a wall, never such animosity and hatred for one another.

Everything changed when the banks shut down, everything went offline, the money people had in the banks vanished, all the money they had saved up was gone, shortly after the economy tanked businesses had to close down and leave the city, causesing major food shortages in a majority of Eden, energy companies couldn’t operate anymore, so they too packed up and left, leaving a majority of people in Eden with no power and electricity.

Ofcourse the rich were not as badly affected since they had wealth that couldn’t be stored in a bank, like land, properties and other assests, which they sold off and leased to keep from living in hunger and darkness like the average people of Eden.

When the average people of Eden noticed this they called on the rich to share and equally distribute they wealth with the people who were starving to death, ofcourse the rich refused, so tensions between the two grew more and more as time went on.

Violence from the poor to the rich grew with the tensions, it seemed the less food their ones the more the attacks got more abrasive ferocious, as they started with standard vandalism, spray painting on their property, to throwing bricks at their window, until one of the rich Edens family house got broken into and the family got killed in the process.

The rich Edens after this incident gathered their funds together to not only just hire a private military company to protect them, but to bring in a construction company to build a great wall seperating the two classes of people.

Once security was established they seemed to prosper and gain more wealth, well it was quiet the opposite for the people on the other side of wall, as their resources dwindled, they fought amongst themsleves for what little scraps were left.
