They find the rapist and It’s spread all over the news . Mr Smith finds Isabel a lawyer and she’s got so many witnesses who’ve also been raped by the same person. Isabel’s uncle agree’s that he did it and he really regrets it . He’s sentenced 25 years in jail.
Isabel still needs answers from her parents. A week later she decides to pay them a visit.
“KNOCK KNOCK” Isabel knocks at the Mark’s house. The door is opened by her mother.
She enters and they start talking about this adoption thing.Mr Mark explains everything to Isabel:
“we’re so sorry Issy that you had to go through all of this, the whole truth is that I forced your mother to adopt you because she’s infertile and can’t produce any babies for me and I wanted someone who would grow up and carry on with our legacy when we’re no more. We then decided to adopt you but then we were so disappointed that you were pregnant + HIV positive. We’ve actually been wanting to come and apologise to you but we just didn’t even know where to start after what we’ve done. I know we can’t take back our words but we love you Issy and we said all of that because we were angry and disappointed, I just hope that one day you’ll find it from the bottom of your heart to forgive us and come back to stay with us. This is your home Issy and it’s really empty without you. We regret our doing but we’ve learned our mistake”
Isabel just stands up and leave.
