In hospital
“Finally you’re here. What the heck is going on here? Is this some kind of a joke?” Peace asked, suprised by seeing his father Kopano entering the entrance.
“Dad, oh thank God” Bantle said running to give him a hug.
“What’s going on here? Where is that doctor that told you I had an accident?” Kopano asked, very furious.
“He will be here soon, apparently he’s still busy with my so called father” Peace said.
Doctor came to the receptionist and he was directed to the family.
“Hi, I assume you’re Prince’s family. Thank you all for coming, seeing that you are all here, I have something bad to share with you” Doctor Welman said.
“Wait, you said who? Prince? Who the hell is Prince?” Peace asked confused.
Prudy stood there. The name clicks. She knows him. He is the man she once fell in love with.
“Well, your father. You look like him by the way. Anyway as I was saying, he lost lot of blood and to add to that, he also needs a kidney transplant. So it’s better if we start testing you now” doctor said.
“I’m not gonna test for a man I don’t know” Peace said.
“Can we see him doctor?” Bantle asked.
“Yes, but only for few minutes” doctor said leading them to the room.
“Are you not coming?” doctor asked Peace’s mother.
“Of course she is coming. Let’s go Prudy” Kopano said.
They entered the room where Prince is and oh wow, he broke his hand.
“What the hell?” Bantle said, shocked.
“Wow, this much resemblance. Peace is indeed looking like him” Jess said.
Prudy was panicking. And all eyes were on her. Prince finally opened his eyes.
“Prudy? Prudy? Is that you?” Prince asked.
Prudy stood there, not answering. Kopano was getting more furious.
“Are you gonna explain what’s going on here?” Kopano asked.
Peace walked straight next to Prince, he looked at him and everything was back. He started to remember. Yes he remembers him. Prince used to bring him sweets at the park when he was still young. He used to call him uncle P. Now it all makes sense.
“Uncle P??” Peace called him.
“Peace? Is that you? Oh my son. You’ve grown up so well. You’re even taller than me” Prince said.
“Why are you wearing a wedding suit? Were you getting married? Is that your wife? I’m so sorry for ruining your wedding day” he added.
That’s when everyone started to notice Peace and Bantle are wearing wedding clothes.
“What the hell? Were you getting married? for the second time, didn’t we agree that you will end your relationship?” Kopano asked.
“No we were not getting married, we were just role playing. I was.. we were just trying to” Bantle tried to explain.
“Role playing? You think we were born yesterday neh?” Prudy asked.
Then the doctor came back.
“Now I think you’re ready to be tested. We can start with this one here, he surely will be a match since it is his father. Then the rest shall follow. Now please let’s go to the testing room, the doctors will draw your blood and see if you’re a match”
“Won’t it be painful? Bantle asked.
The doctor explained the process and everybody understood.
