Chapter two: A God sent.
It had been a week since her arrival at Harvard University and Calibre was astonished by the life that the US kids were living. She felt so isolated and different from all the rich kids she saw there, so all she did, was to lock herself in her room and listen to music, watch and read novels when she isn’t studying.
The only person she would conversate with was her roommate, Channel, an American young girl with an accent of a Russian. “Now tell me Calibre, arr’ your’ nor’t a fan of par’ties?” Asked Channel after entering their room from a study, Calibre knew she had to answer in a polite way, since she could see that her roommate was trying to know her better, through her question, she understood her nature and saw that the only way they would make friends, would be through this one thing that seemed like they both had in common, “partying.”
“I am, ” she answered. “Well then, I suppose we ar’ going out today,” said Channel. It was a Saturday evening when Calibre and her roommate got into their sexy dresses and went out to party at a club called ‘Fly Club.’ The two young ladies became close friends from that night after discovering a lot of things that they both had in common, the way they partied, one would swear they were not Medical students.
When Calibre and her new friend, Channel, entered the club, they both went straight to the bartender, ordered some shots and champagnes. They both got wasted that night, partying from 7pm to 11pm, one would invoke they were businesswomen, but not students, because of the looks they had.
When they ordered their last round of shots, they heard noise from the dancing stage, as if a group of people was fighting, they stretched their necks from the bar to see what was happening, and they saw a muscled guy, well dressed in his pitch suit and he looked like the owner of the place because he had bouncers guarding him. He was pulling out a young man who was believed to be under-age, when Calibre and Channel came close to see what was happening, they made their way through the people and finally got to the centre.
They stood there and watched the bouncers of the owner drag the underage young man out of the club, while the bouncers were battling with that young man, he had dropped his car keys and the owner bent down to reach them, when he raised his head, he scanned around the club and he set his eyes on Calibre, her heart skipped a bit in shock, that she even chocked from her champagne when she saw and realised that she was looking at Ebenezer.
